Gorgeous strong smell (not too overpowering though) which I could smell as soon as I entered the room. I burnt it for four hours as advised and could even smell a slight scent in the morning when I opened the lounge door.

Simply stunning

The candle I received was absolutely stunning. It came packaged in a very modern, simple but beautifully designed box with a very expensive feel.
After only using the candle once I had several comments the next day when friends visited, asking what the lovely room scent was.

I am not a fan of an overpowering scent and the level of aroma these candles release is perfect. Present, but not over bearing.

Celebrate the majestic winter season with Winter Rest. Elevated with subtle notes of Cinnamon, Oudh, Spikenard, Vetiver and Cedarwood, this candle will imbue your interior with its purifying, peaceful scent. It will lead you on a snowy forest walk through the woods with pure notes of Petitgrain and Clove.

Candle Care

Before lighting ensure the wick is trimmed to approx. 5mm and remove any ‘clubbing’ on the wick. This will prevent the candle from smoking and ensure better scent diffusion. Please ensure the wick is centralised at all times; extinguish the flame if the wick becomes off-centre.

Candle Memory

The size of the wax pool on the initial burn sets the memory for the life of the candle. When you light your candle for the first time do not extinguish it until an even liquid wax pool has been created right to the edge of the glass; this can take between 3-4
hours. If you extinguish your candle before a complete wax pool has been formed then ‘tunnelling’ will occur and you will be left with an outer rim of wasted wax.

Draught and Wax Pools

Candles burn best in still air. Draughts can cause a candle to smoke or burn unevenly. Ensure that they are placed away from open windows, doors and other draught sources. Match heads and wick remains in the wax pool can lead to flaring due to debris lighting the wax, so remember to remove any wick debris from the candle before burning.

Extinguishing

Blowing out your candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and the wick may continue to glow and emit smoke. The most effective way to extinguish a candle is to use a candle snuffer.
